DAILY BIRDING UPDATES & SIGHTINGS CAN BE FOUND AT:

https://www.goingbirding.co.uk/hants/birdnews.asp

We go looking for birds and other wildlife in various local nature reserves, rivers, lakes, woodland and of course the coastline, for a couple of hours or so over a gentle 2–3 mile stroll, followed by lunch in a local café or pub!

This area is surrounded by Nature Reserves, woodlands, wetlands, open country, the Hamble river and the foreshore of the Solent. We are on the migration route for many species like that fly to and from Africa and others such as ducks, geese and waders that overwinter here from as far away as Scandinavia and Siberia. We try and vary our venues according to the season
