After the AGM we will have a short talk by Martin Percival on the subject of the Fareham area earthenware industry including red Fareham
chimney pots. Just as “Fareham Reds” were a hugely successful product for the local brickworks, Fareham chimney pots - with their unique white slip marks at the top of the pot - were a very popular product for local potteries in the Victorian era.
